Welcome

Bay of Islands Sailing Week 2016

BOISW is now underway, with registration on Tuesday 26 January, and three days of racing from 27 to 29 January, 2016.

Results can be viewed online HERE as soon as they are available.

The entry list includes over 90 boats of all shapes and sizes, from sports boats to superyachts, making it the biggest regatta of its kind in New Zealand, and one of the Southern Hemisphere's premier yachting events, attracting entries from around New Zealand and overseas.

Bay of Islands Sailing Week is also hosting the NZ Millennium Cup alongside the Bay Week races. Three days of spectacular superyacht racing will make the regatta even more of a thrilling and memorable experience for both competitors and spectators.

We're also pleased to announce that the 2016 regatta will host the IRC Nationals, which will undoubtedly make for even more competitive racing than usual.

We've got Mike Quilter back as our weather man, and we're looking forward to welcoming back Pete Montgomery at prize giving. Bar prices remain unchanged this year, which will no doubt make for a busy North Sails beer tent again. And as usual we've got some stunning 'silverware' to give away, thanks to the talented people at Romeyn Woodcrafts.
